The Avengers (or also called Avengers Assemble in the UK and Ireland), is a perfect example of what a blockbuster movie should be, and is an enjoyable film as well. Is it because of the amazing special effects, the captivating story or the amazing actors?Let me first introduce you to the Avengers characters. At the top of the list is Iron Man who starred in the first three films in the series. While his co-star Rhodey was also featured in the very first film in the series, he didn't have the same impact as Iron Man. There are of course the other Avengers members, which are equally popular - Thor, Hulk, Ant Man and Wasp. The Avengers films have proven that comic book movies can be thrilling and unique.We had a chance to meet our old friend Black Widow, Scarlett Johansson in The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. In this movie, Thanos the Space Ant was introduced, and his intentions and motivations were also made clear. We finally met Dr Doom, the villain in the third movie.The fourth film tells the story of the final fight between the Avengers, and the Fantastic Four. A mysterious Time Stone saved the Avengers during the fight. Doctor Doom activated Darkforce, however, The Fantastic Four was able to defeat it. The movie ends with Doctor Doom activating the Darkforce and transporting the team to the future via the Time Stone. They discover that The Avengers prevented the invasion of Direntix.The fifth and last installment of the movie tells the story about how the X-Men created the X-Men, The New X-Men. Professor X recruited five young X-Men to make up the team. They set out on a mission of rescue for the Skrulls who had taken the X-Men, fighting Magneto and Dr. Strange to contemplate the fate of the entire world. The film ended with death of Professor X along with the other X-Men. Dr. X and Wolverine were killed to fight Magneto. Storm, Wolverine, Dr. X and Dr. X were left behind.Dreamworks Animation created an animated television series called The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes. The show aired on Disney Channel for five seasons and told an engaging storyline about The Avengers that was completely unrelated to any Marvel comic. The film introduced the character of Doctor Strange (Benedict XVI) who was believed to be dead following a plane crash. He also wields a sword that appears like an axe. Although initially , it was believed that the character was based upon the evil Doctor Dare it was later discovered that the costume was actually created by Peter Parker, a wealthy industrialist. Most of the actors in the films have been seen wearing the classic black and yellow costume.There is also the television show The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes It is based on the early seventies television series, The Avengers. The show, which started in the year 2021 was renewed for a second season, with up to four characters. The characters include the likes of Quicksilver, Iron Man, Thor, The Wasp, and The Antiderman. The show is currently ranked second in the country's cable television ratings, just behind Friends. For those who aren't familiar with the series, The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, is the TV show which has taken the comic book world by storm, and features the most beloved characters from comics like The Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes, Vision, The Vision, Spider-Man, The Hulk, The X-Men and many more.
