I also tried longer routines at the beginning, but they almost never worked. Having a default opener in mind is great, but only use it when there is nothing situational to use. I also realized that no matter how much I practiced, the stories/routines never flowed nicely. Girls would surprise me with a strange response or even have had a similar experience. Remember that the idea of these stories and routines is to make her have to qualify herself to you. I prefer real stories because you can speak about them naturally.
Think about the stories you want to tell and segue into them when natural. I realized its better to tell stories differently each time working off the reactions of the girl. Some die immediately and you have to be ready to forget the story and move on.
As you can see during most of your approaches, the routine just didn’t apply. You were trying to hard to fit it in. I commend you on the number of approaches though. At least you didn’t chicken out.

That was basically my whole idea with trying to come up with routines and practicing them, is basically to get to the point that I have a lot of stories built up in my head that I’m used to telling.
I’m not reading off a script, so, I’m never saying the EXACT same words every time, even if I am telling the same story. Definitely have to work of the reactions and personality of the girl a bit there for sure.
The reason why I need to come up with routines, is because I need some more stories to tell, I’ve noticed that most of the stories I tell my guy friends are the same stories I write on this blog (about me getting left a gas station, or about me calling Malaysian and then calling her friend 5 minutes later, Crush, CuteNewChick?, etc.) So, these stories are the stories I’ve written down and also told countless of my friends and wings, so these are the stories that are the freshest on my mind…. but, their not the stories I want to use when trying to cold approach, open and pick up new women, lol. So, I need other stories to tell, so I have to dig deeper, write them down and practice them a bit.
My grandfather and uncle were great fucking story tellers, so surely it’s in my blood somewhere, lol. I hope.
Dr. Know It All is a good story teller, that’s why (in yesterday’s post) he mentioned he was best at “comfort”, he was telling the truth. He’s a good story teller and that’s definitely always helped him with girls.
